Tally ERP 9 - Speed Issues

We recently uploaded bulk records from Excel into different versions of Tally ERP 9.

For your reference, here are the results of uploading a sample Excel  Sheet with 5200 Voucher records using udi-Magic v7.0:

a) We uploaded the same Excel file (5200 vouchers) into different releases of Tally ERP 9
b) It was seen that from Tally ERP 9 Release 5.3.3 onwards, the performance degraded considerably.

This issue is already noticed to Tally but still there is no solutions from Tally and not only on uploading from Excel to Tally, u can try with exporting data from Tally and import the same in a new company the speed is still slow for a month if vouchers having 5000 to 6000 and try to import it takes more than 1 hour even Hardware config which we have tested recently in Xexon Quade Core, 16 gb memory with 64 bit operating system. But till rel 4.93 there is no issue.

Tally Error: Voucher Totals do not match

"Voucher Totals do not match. Dr 122.00 Cr 122.00 Diff 0.00 " Surprised. Even though the Debit and Credit figures shown in the error are same, Tally Software still shows Dr and Cr mismatch. Cause of the Problem:- It is likely that the Excel sheet that you are using contains some FORMULA's. Though the display format (may) have been set to 2 decimals, MS-Excel internally does not round it off to 2 decimals until you use the =ROUND() function. Solution :- Search for FORMULA's used in the Excel sheet and use the =ROUND() function wherever decimal points are required. For example, let us assume, cell D2 has a FORMULA. i.e. =+A2 / B2 .
